A few weeks ago a lady came into my store, put a handful of gold rings on the counter and said, "I always see such beautiful things of yours coming by on Facebook... I'd like you to make a beautiful new ring out of this. Doesn't matter what and how, I'll see!" I begrudgingly asked if she didn't at least want a sketch in advance, to which she replied, more to please me, that she would....
No sooner said than done. I made three sketches for her and she chose one. I worked those out and this modern ring became it. When she put it on, her first reaction was "WOW!" (and followed by "you should put it on Facebook," haha).
That much confidence makes you very happy, doesn't it?
